Quercus Consulting is a strategic advisory firm with a specialty in environmental equity.Issues of sustainability carry weighty challenges, but also offer tremendousopportunities. We develop plans, tackle barriers, track progress and evaluate impact.We do this using a lens of climate justice. Our experience is your greatest ally: Quercuswas founded in 1997. We were leaders in this field when “green” was just a color.

President & CEO
Kelly Shelton
Kelly has worked in the energy and sustainability arena for over thirty years. She has held various positions of increasing responsibility including Systems and Design Engineer, Sales Manager, Marketing Analyst, and Energy Management Director. Kelly earned a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Northern Illinois University and an M.S. in Engineering Management from Northwestern University. Kelly is a LEED AP and a Certified Energy Manager leading the Quercus team with a focus on sustainability plans, environmental justice initiatives and climate equity strategy development.
Social Impact Manager
Casimere Street
Casimere leads the Social Impact work at Quercus. Casimere (Casi) is a Hampton University graduate with a B.A. in Strategic Communications and a minor in Leadership Studies. As an emerging professional at Quercus her focus is on environmental justice and policy design. Casi is a Blessed Tomorrow Eco Ambassador and has conducted research on food deserts, environmental impacts of construction projects and sustainability in the aviation industry. Casi has given powerful presentations on the topic of food and water insecurity and has developed content on effective marketing strategies for sustainability projects.
